Jimmy Armfield
After a successful playing career with Blackpool FC between 1954 and 1971, he was named a the new manager of Bolton in 1971 and spent three years at the club before being installed as the new man in charge of Leeds United in 1974, remaining as manager of the club until 1978 guiding them in to Europe.

Howard Wilkinson
Wilkinson was installed as the new manager of Leeds United in 1988 and guided the club in to the top flight at the end of the 1989 – 1990 season. He helped Leeds win the league title at the end of the 1991 – 1992 season as he had a team that included Lee Chapman and Tony Dorigo. After a disappointing start to the 1996 – 1997 season he left the managerial post. He later on went on to manage Sunderland, Leicester City and was named as executive director at Notts County in December 2004.

Kevin Blackwell
Blackwell took charge at Leeds United in the year 2004, in a season that Leeds had just suffered relegation out of the premiership. His first full campaign in charge at the club, the 2004 – 2005 campaign saw Leeds finish of in 14th position in the championship. He took the club to fifth position at the end of the 2005 – 2006 league season as they suffered defeat against Watford in the 2006 play off final. He left the managerial post at Leeds United in September 2006 after enjoying a fine win against Barnet FC.

George Graham
Graham was a favorite at Arsenal during his time in charge their; he led them to winning the league on two occasions. The first being the 1988-89 campaign, ahead of Liverpool to claim the top spot and the second, winning the title in the 1990 - 1991 season. He left Arsenal in February 1995 prior moving on to manage Leeds United. He helped Leeds finish fifth in the league during the 1997 - 1998 season which secured them a place in the UEFA Cup. He moved on to manage Spurs in 1998 where he was in charge for three seasons and led them to victory in the league cup in 1999. Graham was left the managerial post at Tottenham in March 2001.
